Wedding Makeup Guidelines: Pandemic Edition, Part 2

 In Announcements, How to

Now that June has begun and the Commonwealth has entered Phase 2 of reopening, the state has finally provided guidelines for Close Contact Personal Services (which includes makeup). Once we reach Step 2 (date TBD), I will be able to return to work!

In the meantime, I have done everything I can to prepare my business and working practices. Safety is of the utmost importance to me and anyone I work with.

In addition to the precautions outlined in the previous article, I will be:

  • Acquiring appropriate personal protective equipment to be used when necessary or requested, and laundering any nondisposables
  • Removing any nonessential items from the prep space (such as cell phones, beverages, etc.)
  • Continuing to use contactless methods of scheduling and payment
  • Discontinuing the practice of handshaking and other non-essential contact

Feel free to ask me at any time about the measures I will be taking to make my services as safe as possible!
