High definition makeup tailored to the unforgiving eye of the camera

photoshoots-header

It’s true: everyday makeup products and application techniques don’t always translate well on screen. Modern cameras, both for still photography and film, are capable of picking up the tiniest flaws – and cakey, mask-like makeup or powdery, ashy skin will only make matters worse. If you’re planning a shoot for yourself or for a client, camera-ready makeup is a must.

I use professional products specifically designed for high-definition photography and film, and application techniques that blend seamlessly and eliminate the need for excess product. The result is natural-looking, softly radiant skin, gently emphasized features, and minimized flaws.

BE camera-ready

  • Liz was really sweet, personable and so easy to work with. She also made you feel so comfortable which is really important. You could tell from the moment you met her that she knew exactly what she was doing and that she loves her job : ) She was also very accommodating when it came to scheduling our trial since I had to fly up from Florida and only had a specific date in which I could do it. She really did an amazing job, everyone looked beautiful! I would highly recommend her to anyone.

  • Liz was incredible! From the makeup trial to the wedding day itself and all the crazy emails I sent in between she was professional, patient, understanding, personable, and friendly. She listened to my vision, understood the theme of my wedding (Victorian), and pulled off exactly what I was hoping for: Hollywood classy with a touch of smoky eye. Nothing too over the top but a bit more than the typical bride request. Liz simply nailed it! She also made my mother look like a Hollywood star from the 50’s! It literally brought me to tears to see my mother so naturally beautiful!

  • I was so glad that Liz could be a part of our day! She was both friendly and professional, and I was thrilled with her work. My wife, our bridesmaids, and I do not wear a lot of makeup, so we all went to Liz with pretty vague ideas about what we wanted. Despite this, Liz was able to create looks that were exactly right for each of us. Our makeup lasted all day with no touch-ups, and our pictures looked spectacular. Hiring a makeup artist was a splurge for us, but absolutely worth it. I would recommend Liz to anyone!

  • This is one vendor that will not add any additional stress to your big day. Liz answered every little question I had and found me a fantastic hair stylist! She has a calming personality and will not leave you disappointed! She is a must for your wedding and also take advantage of her great work for boudoir shoots, prom, rehearsal dinner, special anniversary dates and any other time you want to feel glamorous!

  • As a professional photographer and sometimes model, I’ve worked with a lot of makeup artists. I met Liz in the latter capacity and was totally blown away by her work. Liz was able to create something striking while still keeping it fresh, young and very natural looking. Liz made my skin look flawless. I admired Liz’s work so much that I got in touch after the shoot to set up a makeup lesson. I feel like I’ve always done a pretty good job with my makeup, but the tricks and insight Liz provided changed the way I did my makeup, and totally for the better. From the first makeup application to the lesson and shopping trip, I had a truly fabulous experience!
