Real Weddings

One word describes my experience working with Liz on my wedding day… AMAZING! She was so professional yet easygoing and relaxed. She made me feel calm and secure that I would look amazing… and I did! I had a relaxing moment in an extraordinarily hectic day while and I was so happy with the way my makeup turned out. I am not a morning person and I had a bit of a breakout due to stress. After Liz did her magic I looked fresh and rested. My complexion looked smooth and even, and the colors she used were perfect: soft yet dramatic enough to make an impact. I looked young and fresh and glowing. She made me feel beautiful on the most important day of my life!

Don’t hesitate – if you’re thinking about booking Liz for your wedding do it now! She is fantastic and books up fast! Liz did a wonderful job. Even my husband who usually doesn’t like makeup said that my makeup was perfect. Liz applied individual false lashes which really made my eyes pop! She did a wonderful job on my mom and bridesmaids – each one requested something different and she tailored each look to their requests. She really can do anything, you just have to communicate what you want and you will not be disappointed. She uses airbrush makeup that somehow evens you out without looking heavy at all. Highly recommended!!!

Liz helped me feel happy, frisky, and even BEAUTIFUL in front of that scary camera. I was full of weird anxieties (‘I don’t want to look too made-up!’) and I am absolutely overjoyed with the result. I’ll probably be using these headshots for the next ten years … at which point I will go straight back to Liz and [photographer] Lesley!

Liz was incredible! From the makeup trial to the wedding day itself and all the crazy emails I sent in between she was professional, patient, understanding, personable, and friendly. She listened to my vision, understood the theme of my wedding (Victorian), and pulled off exactly what I was hoping for: Hollywood classy with a touch of smoky eye. Nothing too over the top but a bit more than the typical bride request. Liz simply nailed it! She also made my mother look like a Hollywood star from the 50’s! It literally brought me to tears to see my mother so naturally beautiful!

Liz was fantastic. She worked with me to fit my busy wedding day schedule and was accommodating to all of my needs. She listened to what I wanted and never tried to make me look like something I wasn’t. I was hesitant about hiring a makeup artist until I decided I’d rather not stress out about it that day. I am SO glad I did. Not only was it less stress on me, but it was actually a relaxing experience and one of the highlights of the day. Liz’s calm and collected attitude really helped bring everyone’s stress level down. Liz is an amazing makeup artist and will have you looking exactly how you imagined, only better.
