Jenn’s wedding at Wistariahurst Museum and Union Station

 In Airbrush, Clients, Weddings

I’m writing this on a cool, rainy Fall day and thinking back on how many rainy day weddings I’ve had the privilege to be part of. It’s usually not a bride’s first choice – sometimes ceremonies have to retreat indoors, and photo locations may change – but you can’t deny that the light is soft and lovely, and that brides with colorful umbrellas are automatically adorable. (But then, I usually find rain to be cozy and calming.)

Rain or shine, Jenn is a force to be reckoned with. I’d worked with her the previous year for her sister Shelbie’s wedding, and she shares her sibling’s love for moody, smoky makeup, which I was delighted to deliver. With the dark 1920’s-inspired eye and plum lip stain, Jenn was a true femme fatale.
